Whether you are self employed, a new employee, an experienced manager or a business owner we hope you have experience that you would like to share with our readers here.
We rely on articles freely contributed by people from all walks of life and all types of business. The articles are vetted before publication online - some may be about products and services that the authors subscribe to, or provide - but, where that is the case, it should be obvious from the context and presentation of the article. Others may be more general in their nature and the author's details and contact information can be included online, if the author wishes, as a thank you for your contribution - with a brief summary of your business, experience and links to your own site where appropriate.
In order to ensure, to the best of our ability, that we do not publish libellous or inaccurate information, all articles are vetted before use - but it is stressed that the opinions read here are those of the authors and not necessarily of any of the staff on the site. We are merely an information conduit.
If you are interested in contributing an article please contact the magazine Editor first, by email, with a general summary/overview (2-3 sentences) in the body of the text to editor@wising-up.co.uk. If you would like the article to include your own graphics, photos and logos, they need to be listed in the summary and not sent until requested. We encourage both new and established authors to contribute and we are always delighted when an author we have already published sends us fresh or updated articles.
BUT PLEASE NOTE - Do not send any "attachments" to the magazine UNLESS you have been invited to do so by the editorial staff. Any uninvited email with an attachment, that is a first approach from an unknown author will be deleted by our firewall BEFORE we ever get a chance to see it, so will waste both your time and your effort.
Whilst we are not actively seeking Advertising or Sponsorship for this site - we are always pleased to discuss proposals that will enrich the service we give to our visitors so please feel free to contact our staff if you have a proposal you think will both enhance the site and help to support the online magazine
Thanks for your patience
