They are able to provide free:

Skills for Life awareness training for workplace mentors
The opportunity for team leaders to train to support other members for staff
Free training at work days where employees can ask questions and enter competitions
Free short in house training courses for employees
Free entry to national tests at Level 1 and 2 for employees

What is the national test ? This is an adult qualification equivalent to GCSE. Level 2 is equivalent to grades A - C,
Level 1 to grades D - F.

What is the catch ? There is none! All adult literacy and numeracy training is free..If you are interested in up-skilling your workforce you can be visited by a team member who will discuss your needs. You then can choose from a list of approved providers, who you would like to deliver your free training. They will arrange to deliver in a way that is most convenient to you and your workforce.
